Music companies do these tack ticks to take out there future competitors or to absorb them and then release their own version of said product. Great overview VSB… I think it’s a good tool for sketching, especially for creatives from different disciplines …. I’m surprised DAWS on the verge of integrating Algorithm driven song creation, like Logic and Ableton, haven’t got this type of feature already… after all , keyboards in the 1970s,1980s, had auto accompaniment, with bass and chords, key changes, which is similar to the “ AI ” (buzz word) softwares…that can quickly access phrases with trained knowledge of music song arrangements . If these companies grow then they could introduce a VST plugin option for extended production… this way phrasing could have live midi playback to trigger your favourite plugins. Hopefully the internal sound engines will improve . Ideas are King, the tools just help us visualise with faster strategic options.
